Winter Time

January and February have been busy months with lots of shared cooties, birthdays, and snow days. McLain caught a nasty viral infection that lasted a week. Back on the nebulizer he went for the first time in almost a year. Just as he started to improve, Keaton came down with it on his birthday. At least he waited until after his party to get sick!

I turned 32 (siiiggghhh) at the end of January, and Keaton turned 3 just seven days later. I can't quite believe how fast my baby has grown up. This year, he celebrated with a Thomas the Tank Engine theme. When he woke up on his party day and saw all the decorations, he just kept walking around the dining room saying, "Wow. WOW!" Too cute!

Yesterday, Georgia was hit with an impressive amount of snow (at least for us). Fat snow flakes started falling about lunch time and continued until after 9:00 P.M. Because school let out early, the boys and I were able to spend the afternoon playing in the snow and taking lots of pictures. McLain and Keaton had a great time hurling snowballs at each other, and I had a lot of fun watching them. Who knows how long it will be until I'll be able to watch them play in the snow again with the way Georgia likes to tease us with just snow flurries?

Tomorrow is Valentine's Day, and I'm grateful for all the little loves in my life: My husband, my little men, my teammates, my good friends, and the kiddos in my class. Sometimes it amazes me how much I can love so many people and for so many different reasons. Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Love you! :)
