Day Five
I am so very, very, truly, deeply grateful for epidurals. After having an unplanned natural delivery with Keaton, I was TERRIFIED that I would have another one with Collin. From the time I got to triage and discovered that my water had broken, I told every medical staff member I saw that I really wanted to make sure that I got my epidural in plenty of time before delivery. Hallelujah, I did get it with time to spare! I'm thankful that I had no suicidal thoughts during this delivery, and I even impressed myself that I didn't curse. What an amazing difference that a little medication in the spine makes! Thank you to the brilliant person who invented epidurals. I<3 you!!!
